We got to babysit our Grandpug Daisy over Easter while our other Grandpug Donald was having and recovering from some surgery (it went well). Here she is in her favorite bed The Chewbacca! While I haven't posted please know that I have read every one of your posts and enjoyed them all (Little One, those are some spiffy Bummlies you got there, courtesy of Auntie Melissa www.pugnotes.com)!
I hope you all had a most wonderful and family-centric Easter!

Gammy and I escaped the Midwest and went to visit friends in Southern California these past two weeks! While it was snowing another 6" in St. Louis we "suffered" with 70 degree sunshine! Here I am with Babe down in Long Beach.
We also got to spend a couple of days in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. The sign says Dinah Shore Drive in case you can't make it out. We also crossed over Bob Hope Drive and Frank Sinatra Blvd! How cool is that!!!
Down at Balboa Island (Newport Beach area) the boats have to be wrapped in plastic snow netting to keep the sea lions off their boats. So many climb on they have actually sank a couple of boats!!!
That's a picture of a Huntington Beach volley ball court where May and Trainer qualified and practiced for their Olympic Gold medals!!
And of course we had to see the iconic Rose Bowl in Pasedena where the Big 10 used to play in the annual Rose Bowl football game!
We had a great time and even ran into a couple of pugs along the way but I was too busy hugging and butt scritching them to take their picture!
Here's the lovely Gammy with her trusty sidekick (that would be me) in the most beautiful Palm Desert resort! St. Louis winter, eat your heart out!

As you all know I enjoy using Pugs & Kisses photos and sayings here on my blog because they do such a great job of capturing what I'm thinking. Greta Rose was most often my choice because she displayed such a zest for living, she reminded me a lot of my BFF Hank here in Blogville. Sadly she is on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge now but she went with typical class as you can see below. I know you will take charge up there Greta Rose, please say hello to Payton, Izzy, Huey and Tricks for me. I will miss you. Prayers to the Pugs & Kisses family.
